Mysterion
The word mystery originates from the Greek word Mysterion, which translates to enigma or doctrine. The Eleusinian Mysteries was the first record of a historical cult, which was full of secrecy, they celebrated the story of Demeter and Persephone. It was a three-part story about separation, seeking and reunion. The focus on the triadic element was explored and investigated, concentrating on the history of the number three, through various historical mysteries.
